My creativity needs an outlet!

I've literally been stuck in the house for the last couple weeks due to circumstances beyond my control and I am pretty much going crazy...

But something good has come of it.

I'm usually too busy to do anything creative but being in my current situation, I have more than enough time on my hands to do some creative, crafty things.

I've been crocheting A LOT. I actually just finished a scarf (my second this week lol!) for one of my friends for a late Christmas present. Kinda tired of crocheting right now so I decided that I'm going to draw something. I haven't drawn anything in quite a while and I miss doing it... I need to find some of my drawings to put on here...

Anyway, kinda rambling right now, but I decided that I'm going to draw this:

I Googled the word 'mule' and hit the images tab and fell in love with this lovely lady named Sophia. From what I gathered she belongs to a man named Jerry Heitzler and the picture was found at www.muleranch.com. I really want to draw her, she's gorgeous! I've drawn gazillions of horses in my life but it dawned on me that I have never drawn a mule. So gonna start doing that as soon as I find my drawing paper. I'll put pics up when I'm done.

  1. Wow! I'm going to be first to comment again. Just working on a couple of my blogs and saw you just posted from my dashboard.

Nice looking mule. Its wearing a Steve Edwards QVMR saddle. My wife and I have been to one of his clinics. He is pretty good.

Helpful suggestion: Try clicking on my blog counter--I called it "mule Traffic". Set yourself up an account, follow the directions, and embed the code in an HTML/javascript gadget. You can see interesting things about the visitors to your blog, like how they found you, how long they stayed, etc.

Also, try to get as many links pointing to your blog and people will find it easier when they search the major engines.

good luck again and thanks for visiting my blog.
